Wheat Stalk Mug

This stoneware mug from Musashi Kiln showcases a beautifully hand-painted design of a single wheat stalk.

Its rounded shape offers ample capacity and a comfortable thickness. The surface features a harmonious blend of an earthy texture and natural hues. Decorative touches, including small husks aligned on the base of the mug, further enhance its aesthetic appeal. Each wheat design is meticulously rendered, with tips elegantly extending outward, embodying the natural grace of the plant.

Inspired by the natural world, Tsujii Musashi imbues his creations with a subtle, rustic beauty. The organic allure of this piece is further enhanced by gohonde, pinkish spots that emerge after the firing of the pottery.
