Tanuki Sake Set

The tanuki sake set is a fun way to enjoy Japans national drink. Made from stoneware, the set features a playful animal design. Tanuki means raccoon dog in Japanese. The flask and cups are decorated with little eyes and ears.

The set includes a traditional flask (tokkuri) and two cups (ochoko). The cups are small but with wide openings so you can enjoy the aroma of your sake.

Sake can be served chilled, at room temperature or heated to 40C. At this temperature, its known asatsukan. Its a delicious accompaniment to sushi and yakitori skewers.

The animal design will delight your dinner guests. Its a quirky alternative to traditional sake sets. Buy the tanuki set for yourself or as a gift for a friend. You can pair it with a small bottle ofJapanese sake.
