Fish-Shaped Grater – Flounder

A charming Japanese oroshi grater crafted in the shape of a flounder. This traditional kitchen tool creates fine pastes from wasabi, ginger, daikon radish, nutmeg, and more – perfect for authentic Japanese cooking.

Traditional Technique

Made in Japan, this oroshi grater features fine teeth that turn ingredients into a smooth paste rather than shredding them. This traditional technique preserves the delicate flavours and aromatic oils of fresh wasabi, ginger, and other ingredients, delivering superior taste compared to pre-ground alternatives.

Versatile Use

Perfect for grating fresh wasabi for sushi and sashimi, creating ginger paste for tea or cooking, preparing daikon radish for traditional dishes, or freshly grating nutmeg for baking and beverages. The fine texture achieved with this grater enhances both flavour and presentation.

Charming Design

The playful flounder shape adds personality to your kitchen whilst honouring Japanese culinary tradition. The compact size makes it easy to use and store, whilst the quality construction ensures long-lasting performance.
